As a child, I was often wasting my hours away at the "timeout" table in the kitchen corner, after cutting the phone cord to get my mom's attention (yes, phones used to have cords!). Lucky for me, there was paper and crayons to help release the spirit that got me there in the first place, and I usually continued drawing long after time out was over.

Drawing inspiration from the exotic ancient days of Egypt, Persia and Morocco, to the swingin’, hip, relaxed jazz of the 50’s and 60’s I keep finding new ideas tucked inside the folds of my brain.

Somewhere between the fantasy I live and the reality I choose to ignore, there is great satisfaction. Lucky for me, there are those who are still fooled by believing creating is an important part of filling the soul.
